About Jason Charles King

comparative jurimetricist & Attorney | U.S. & Spain

Jason Charles King is a U.S.-Spain Legal Comparatist.

His work focuses on contributing to the emerging field of Computational Comparative Law through the Computational Equivalence Methodology. This framework introduces a standardized, algorithmic system that utilizes a ‘Human-in-the-Loop’ protocol to quantify legal distance (d). By deconstructing legal rules into their constituent morphological and teleological features, the framework uses a logic-gate system and Bayesian inference to convert qualitative legal judgments into structured, falsifiable data. By quantifying comparability on a 31-point scale, this methodology provides a technical foundation for the field of Computational Comparative Law.
